About Student Research Day

The INTREPiD Student Research Day is an annual event celebrating undergraduate scholarship, creativity, and academic engagement across disciplines. It gives students a chance to present research projects, class-based work, independent studies, creative projects, and other scholarly activities in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Our Goal

We want to encourage student participation in research and creative inquiry while helping students:

  • Increase their scientific literacy
  • Develop presentation skills
  • Strengthen their résumés and transfer/graduate school applications
  • Connect with faculty, peers, and research opportunities

What to Expect

This event includes:

  • Student presentations (live and pre-recorded)
  • Faculty and student panels
  • Workshops on undergraduate research opportunities
  • Invited speakers
  • Presentation awards and recognition
